NPSO Membership

New Members

Membership in the Native Plant Society of Oregon is open to all.
Presently, there are three methods for joining: from the state website a printable form or on line using paypal. Membership forms and information can also be obtained at most state and chapter events. Choose "Umpqua Valley" as your chapter when filling out a membership application to receive communications from this chapter. New memberships enrolled after July 1 include the following year.

Membership Benefits

Membership includes a subscription to the state published monthly bulletin as well as the annual on line publication Kalmiopsis     Learn more about NPSO publications


Local Focus: Membership also includes an invitation to all Umpqua Valley Chapter field trips, seminars and other events. Local communication will be determined by availability of an email address, if no email is provided we will mail a notice of upcoming events and other important information

(Subscription Only, for the Bulletin and Kalmiopsis, is for individuals or institutions that wish to subscribe but do not need to have full membership status)


Extra gifts can be made when joining or renewing your membership. These can be directed to the Augusta Rockefeller Memorial Scholarship, Jean Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Leighton Ho Memorial Field Botany Award Fund, the Rare & Endangered Plant Fund, and/or the Friends of the Oregon Flora Project, in any amount.


Renewing Your Membership

For renewals, please use the special renewal remittance envelope found in your December/January Bulletin OR the online Print & Mail form OR the form printed on the back (inside) page of every issue of the Bulletin.
